    The DMC-1X Smart Drive was developed specifically to simplify the design and configuration of motion control systems. The Smart Drive integrates PLC, multi-axis motion controller, single-axis servo drive and 32DI/32DO in one compact unit, and delivers superb functionality, high performance and reliability despite its size.

    The DMC-1X Smart Drive utilizes proven 32-bit RISC CPU equipped with specific motion control firmware to provide comprehensive, all digital motion control. The Smart Drive can control 15 servo drives to network a 16-axis motion system via high-speed serial communication link. Furnished with Fics-III Basic-like language, Fics-IV natural language or Ladder Motion language, the Smart Drive utilizes the simple yet very powerful nature of these languages to create versatile and flexible motion control systems.

    The DMC-1X Smart Drive opens a whole new world of possibilities for manufacturers of machines and automation systems. A new motion control concept where the control design is based on a single component, offering simplicity, versatility and above all extraordinary cost effectiveness. The Smart Drive is ideally suited for system builders and end-users who desire more flexibility and independence in their design process.
